I just got back from 6 days of following the band through Applegate, Bend, Eugene and Portland Oregon. Leslie flew up and met me for the weekend and caught one of the shows. She said she logged on to the Applegate livestream show under my id and that people were saying hi, but she didn’t know how to chat and didn’t respond. I'm off-line on the road.
The shows were great- Eugene may have been my favorite, Barry has really been awesomer lately (that means more awesome than usual). They played 4 new songs, but those segues Barry is throwing down sometimes make me think I’m hearing another new song.
I liked all the new songs, but we’re big Ann Atomic fans and were excited to finally hear the MA version of 15 Cadillacs.
I know I’ve talked about the injustice of geography before, but it’s geography that allowed me to see the band 9 times in July and 3 (maybe 4) shows this August.
