I haven't seen the high 5 play yet, but I have heard the downloads. Still one of my Favorite bands. There is still room for another guitar, voice, bass player I think. My first choice would be Jackie Greene. I've also envisioned David Nelson, or Bob Weir. Keep it local, makes it stronger. What do you think?
Of course, I'd really hope GE would come home!

If Moonalice replaced GE, than who would you like to see?

When I heard that GE had left I had the same thoughts, who else would be a good fit for the band? Now hat I've seen the high five 4 or 5 times, I'm very happy with the status quo.

I would like to see a talented as-yet-unknown tribe member be given a chance to join the band. Perhaps the band could request audition tapes from interested guitarists and just see what happens!

I saw the Fab Five at Crystal Bay and asside from guest appearences Barry does quite well and seemed to have more elbow room to really expand .I think along with John on the skins we have a really fine core lineup .
I have said this before and it bears repeating ..... every show I've seen (5) has been better than the last and I have the last was way over the top

Five people is enough for a rock band, IMHO. And then, there's JACK to consider.

I have not had the chance to see them in concert, but if the live recordings are an indication, I think they are doing just fine with the high 5 lineup. The sound of the group is a bit different, but I like it a lot. I say leave things as is.

Well thanks for the posts and I look forward to seeing Moonalice in 2010 up here in Arcata this Spring. How about booking a show at Humbrews Chubby?
