Those of us in the neighborhood actually consider this venue to be in Mountain View.

It was great. We were disappointed that Roger Love wasn't there, but Ann has an embarrassment of back-up keyboardists and Mookie Siegel played keys and switched to accordion when Ann was on keys. I just looked at the David Nelson Band page, and Mookie also played the 7/3 Lilith in Seattle.

I'd read that Lilith had cancelled shows in the south, but it was a large enthusiastic crowd in Mountain View. We saw Roger and Ann in the crowd when we arrived, but they were off to the side and the direct line to the front of the stage meant that we were only able to say hi to Earl (Moonalice merch man) and Curt Bisquera (AA drummer) on our way in. We were able to talk to Roger just before Ann played, he was still really pumped about the Nateva show the day before and it looked like he could barely wait for Ann to play.

Did anybody see the set? There were cameras there.

A very nice crowd. A celebration of women this close to San Francisco had the possibility of drawing a more committed type of feminist, but aside from the fact that I had longer hair than most other attendees it was really a wonderful day.

I made a couple of quick counts in various spots during the day, and the female:male ratio averaged 8:1.
