    I have slightly mixed feelings about this show.

    It's a work night, and early in the week. I not only have to work the day of and the day after the show, I have to work 3 more days in a row after the show. It sounds so wrong until you consider karma, then I'm probably getting off easy.

    Still, it's a show that's pretty easy to get to. Once again, I am geographically well-endowed.

    I'm out of there as soon as the band leaves the stage, but I'm going to bring a bunch of duplicate posters with me. I've given people posters before on the condition that if they ever see the band and I'm not there, get me a poster. Maybe I can make that deal with a few of you at the show.

    Roger, thank you again for the offer, but work is so weird and 10:30 is so early that I can be home by midnight and in my classroom by 7am. Some of my staff and my 2 girl students have promised to attend the show via MoonaliceTV, so I will be on my best behavior. Well, my most subtle behavior, at any rate.

    Too much fun. Too many stories, and I was only there for 4 hours, I can't imagine the tales that could be told by those who stayed over. I would say hi to a lot of the people I met if I could remember all their names. I always like seeing Alexandra Fischer and her husband Chris Shaw, 2 of the more prolific poster artists. 7 posters in the free evening's set, plus the big silk-screened poster by Chris.

    These posters are driving me nuts! I gave away 20 - 30 duplicates at the show, hoping that maybe someone might send me something I didn't have, but I haven't figured out what to do with them. I used to have 28 of them on my living room wall, I got that under control. Now I have one poster on the wall, and it was my intention to rotate a new poster through the frame every month. At that rate I now have enough new posters to last until July 2011 before I would have to put up an older poster. I need a new poster strategy.

    There were so many people- the guy who invented Howling Monkey and now has a new beer Black Star, the first person to re-tweet a MA song, the poster artists, the net people 767776and all the fans! The band and the crew's generosity cannot adequately be described aloud, Big Steve in particular appeared to be taking good care of people. I personally want to thank Crystal (sp?) for the wonderful goodies at the show.

    This event has it's own facebook page! I guess I'm gonna have to modern up.

    HEY RICHARD I hope you got my package of posters....it was great meeting you at the show....i will definitely get you a poster from every show i get a chance to go to.....being out east...does make it harder....maybe..Moonalice will do a extended residency in the phila/NY area

    John! AWESOME! Just arrived today, and 2 of them are by (the pretty) Alexandra Fischer with art direction by her (better-looking than me) husband Chris Shaw. Thanks.

    I'm getting ready to go see Ann Atomic at the GAMH in SF tonight. I've been playing the mp3's on her website at work for the last 2 days to a very positive response. They like Moonalice, but they tease me about 'hippie music' all the time. They have trouble with extended jamming, Ann Atomic is more accessible to them.

    I did not bring all my duplicate posters to the show, I still have some. I saw the band 5 times this month and I hope to see at least 4 more northern California shows before August (work issues will make me miss 2 other shows), so I am going to continue to pick up an extra to trade with someone. If anyone out there has an extra and wants to trade, my email address is in my profile.

    I have a lot of dupes and not that many offers to trade, so if anyone said the magic word (MOONALICE) while communicating with me I would probably have to insist on trading 2 for 1.

    hello Leah - will we see you in Berkeley on 5/7? still having a warm glow from 4/20 show. fun meeting so many of the tribe IRL instead of just on twitter or livestream chats (though those are fun too).
