I download every show as soon as I can and burn them onto cd because I only listen to music in my truck during my commute. The bad news is I live 3 miles from work, I only get to listen to about 10 minutes at a time. The good news is that it takes so long to listen to the sets that I haven't listened to an old MA set in months, I always have something new to listen to. That is so ridiculously cool.

My Moonalice mishap-
I'm listening to the 1/6/10 show- cd1 ends with I Ain't Ever Satisfied, a song I had associated with GE. CD2 opens with the opening guitar riff from a song GE wrote, Heart Frozen Up, and I'm thinking, the band is going to play this song? How cool!

Then GE starts singing, and I'm thinking that isn't right. I forward to song 2 and Roger is introducing Lorin and Chris Rowan, and I realize that I'd somehow grabbed the wrong show when I recorded the 2nd cd and was listening to a show from months ago.

I'm ok now.

Thanks again for your generosity. I've been into bands a long time, I've always had a favorite band that I saw all the time, but I've never had access to a favorite band like this. I saw this band 27 times in 2009 (ok, 26, I made my gf go alone once when I couldn't make a show) and probably half those shows were free. A really neat poster souvenir from each show- following this band has been a very gratifying and satisfying experience. Most bands focus on squeezing money from their fans, no matter how big and successful the band has become (I'm comparing Metallica souvenir prices). Your generosity borders on the far side of awesome. Thanks again.
