Dear Chubby Wombat,
Thank-you for honoring me so. The title great chief is a large responsibility, but I am up to it. Let it be known in Moonalice legend, the first pronouncement from great chief Everest is "All play is noble."

Delicious Moonalice reminded me his name is Dannion Brinkley, and he lives in LA. Dannion and Roger M likely have some experiences in common. Here is a link if you are curious: http://www.spiritofmaat.com/archive/aug2/dannion.htm I could invite him but your personal invitation may carry more weight (since you are Chubby.)

According to Moonalice legend, rainbow laces are sign of enlightenment! For members of the Moonalice agricultural clan, Dr. L. was the height of enlightenment. But a guy who got hit by lightning TWICE? What a buzz that must have been! If you ever figure out who he was, we have to invite him to join the tribe. Thank you for contributing to the legend!

At a New Age healing conference in Seattle in the early nineties Delicious and I heard a talk from a man who was struck twice, and lived (obviously.) Don't recall his name without research but his talk was electrifying! Loved his hair. This same event we were treated to a talk by Black Elk and got a hug from Timothy Leary! He had the coolest rainbow laces on his high-tops. I love these recollections and wish I had more, and nearer the surface.

According to Moonalice legend, the chances of being struck by lightning are 1 in 600,000, which is way higher than your chances of winning the Megabucks Lottery. How the tribe came up with this number is not clear to us, as there is no record of a Moonalice ever being hit by lightning. No tribe member has won the Megabucks either, which is the real bummer in this story. But as the junior senator for Illinois tells us, we can always hope!

By the way, we checked the NEWTON system at the Dept. of Energy website, and discovered that the probability of being hit by lightning TWICE is 1 in 360 billion. What a relief! Unfortunately, those odds only hold for people who don't fish, climb mountains or play golf during lightning storms. Note to self . . .
